Policy Amount Of $250,000 Paid To Plaintiff In A Cass County Michigan Automobile Crash
On August 30, 2022 an 18-year-old woman who was seriously injured when she was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a drunk driver has settled her case for the policy amounts of $250,000. The plaintiff was represented by Kevin Golden.
In the summer of 2021, the plaintiff was working at a summer camp near Three Rivers, Michigan. The plaintiff decided to spend the night at a co-workers house before starting her shift at the camp the next day. The plaintiff arrived at the co-worker house and the co-worker offered to drive the plaintiff to a camp ground to hang out with other workers from the camp. The plaintiff did not realize that the co-worker was intoxicated and should not have been driving. The co-worker was driving to the camp and loss control of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled over on M-40 in Cass County and the plaintiff was thrown from the vehicle. The plaintiff suffered 5 broken ribs, sacral fracture, a right tibial plateau fracture, and sever road rash. The plaintiff has returned to college and still suffers from her injuries.
